The 20x102mm PGU-27A/B was developed as a low cost training round meant to be ballistically identical to the PGU-28A/B Semi Armor Piercing High Explosive Incendiary cartridge. This cartridge has an aluminum coated steel projectile that's colored blue, to identify the projectile as being inert. Compatible with the Mk96 M.O.A.B. rifle.
