The Falcon SMG from Infantry Defense Systems converts a standard double-stack Glock pistol into a compact, stabilized sub-machine gun optimized for CQB. Since any double-stack Glock pistol can be used, caliber can be chosen to meet operational needs or agency requirements.
Equipped with an adjustable folding stock and QD sling system, the Falcon is controllable even at the high rate of fire (1100 rounds-per-minute) typical of fully-automatic Glock pistols. The pistol in a Falcon SMG is modified with a select-fire switch to allow semi-automatic or fully-automatic fire.
A rail-mounted forward grip also holds a spare magazine. A front quad-rail allows for red dot, light, laser, and forward grip at the same time. Typical system weight is 1.27 kg (2 lbs 13 oz) with a Glock 17 installed.
The Falcon SMG is available for military, law enforcement, and international customers. US citiens may purchase a Falcon PCS frame for their double-stack Glock, minus the automatic-fire machine pistol and adjustable stock.
